mestre

A city with ancient roots, Mestre bears witness to the history of the Venetian lagoon area.

From a modest Roman village, it grew in importance over the centuries, eventually becoming a lively commercial and cultural centre, and offering a rich artistic, gastronomic and cultural scene.

Today Mestre is a dynamic town facing the lagoon of Venice, with a beating heart around Piazza Ferretto, where history and modernity intertwine in a harmonious urban dance.
